Title derivs are derived from 17 alpha-ethinyl-13 beta-ethylgon-4-enes, 17 alpha-13 beta-methylgon-4-enes, 17 alpha-chloro-ethinyl-17 alpha-vinyl-19-norsteroids and the DELTA 5-derivs. are prepd. by silylation in aprotic dipolar solvents. Thus 17 alpha-ethynyl-3-trimethylsilyloximino-19-norandrost-4-en-17 beta-ol-17-acetate(mixed isomers) is prepd. from the 3-oximino cpd. by silylation with trimethylchlorosilane in DMF and pyridine.
