Photographic paper support uses paper sized with a polysaccharide binder, a pigment and second binder to give a Sheffield smoothness value of 5-100. The material is esp. used as a support for a photosensitive compsn. comprising silver halide, silver behenate, 2:2'-dihydroxy 1:1-binaphthyl 2':4'-dihydroxy benzophenone, 5-acetyl-2-benzyloxycarbenylthio-4-methylthiazole, 3-carboxymethyl-5- 3-methyl-2(3H)-thiazolinylidene) isopropylidene rhodamine with a cellulose acetate overlayer.
