The fabric is pref. formed into a bag or sack and is pref. of an open chain knit. The knit has regions of high density formed either by a tighter knit or the introduction of synthetic or neutral fibre yarns or tapes into the knit. Information can be readily printed on the high density region. The necessity of stitching or glueing on labels is eliminated.
