The knitted rows of non-electrically conductive fibre loops have conductive fibre components spaced from each other in them, whereby the space (a) between two parallel rows of loops (5) of electrically conductive material is 0.3 - 3.5 mm. whilst the distance (b) between two adjacent loops (6) in the same row is 0.3 - 3.5 mm. Pref. the conductive material is stainless steel. The conductive fibre component can be mixed with the non-conductive fibre components in the form of staple fibres. The metallic proportion of the conductive fibres is 0.5 - 2.0%, espec. 1.0% by weight. Distance (a) is specifically 2.1 mm and distance (b) 0.7 mm. The material can be used e.g. in garments, bed clothes or as binding cloths.
