Stable aqs. gamma-globulin solns. having improved growth-promoting and disease-resistance-imparting effect when administered parenterally to young animals contain a water-sol. physiologically tolerable Fe(III) complex and a water-soluble physiologically tolerable Co salt or Co complex (pref. vitamin B12). - The compn. contains andagent (gamma-globulin) promoting the formation of anti-bodies and agents (FE, Co) promoting the formation of blood and represents a simple and safe way of substantially accelerating the growth of new-born domestic animals while considerably reducing the susceptibility to diseases.
