Free fall cement burning - in multi burning zone vertical shaft

Burning and sintering of fine grain material is effected during its free fall through a shaft with on eor several burning zones, in which it is chemically transformed or sintered, followed by passage through a cooling shaft. - The process is intended for the burning of cement flour which is introduced into the vertical shaft plant as a coal dust/flour mix. Two burner ring zones are provided in the preferred version each being positioned at a constriction in the shaft.
