The integrated gyrator has an operational amplifier with two oppositely-phased outputs and two floating oppositely-phased inputs. The first input is connected over a resistor to the output having the opposite phase to the first input. The second input is connected directly to an output terminal whilst the second input is connected to the second output terminal. The input signal is applied directly to the first input, and over a resistor to the second input. A negative impedance converter may be connected between the first input and first output terminal. No special negative impedance converter is therefore required.
