The aerial system is intended for the short wave range. The two aerials have their radiators mounted each on a vertical plane, the two planes forming together a V. A horizontal polarised, logarithmic-periodic aerial is arranged between the two vertically polarised aerials in identical erection direction. The angle enclosed by the two vertical planes is so chosen that the coupling of the radiators of the horizontal aerial with the corresponding radiators of the vertical aerials (6a,6b) is identical at all points. - For blanking out of a transmitter, located in the erection direction of the aerial system the lead to the horizontal aerial is connected to the lead for the vertical aerial system. This arrangement takes place at approximately phase reversed connection of leads for the vertical aerials. In the connection are incorporated adjustment members affecting the amplitude and phase. (DS)
