The medical or surgical bandage having a strip of clinging material on at least one side of the bandage which adheres by contact pressure onto a similar or woven surface. Pref. the clinging material is fixed to the surface of the rubber bandage by cold vulcanizing or cold adhesion; using this type of fastener the bandage can be very precisely posnd., will not slip off but can be removed with one hand only when required.
