The axial bearing assembly comprises several ball or roller bearings, one behind the other. Each has an inner and an outer race of triangular cross-section. The outer and inner races are spaced from each other in the axial direction by intermediate rings. - All distance rings (4,5) and all races (1,2) have the same height in the axial direction, where the rings bear against the races. The cylindrical seat faces (6,7) of the latter in the housing and on the shaft extend for only part of their axial height. All races and rings are highly prestressed in the axial direction.PS(1/1)
