Nitrile polymer articles opt. contg. =25 wt. % of a rubber with an improved colour are obtd. by raising the temp. of the polymer in the presence of =0.06 wt.% water during =1 stage. Enables articles esp. packaging containers with a much better colour to be obtained from nitrile polymers esp. (meth)acrylonitrile copolymers, by normal moulding processes.
