Insulation of interior walls by covering them with a self-extinguishing grade of a rigid or semi-rigid plastic or rubber foam, pref. covered with glass fibre reinforced polyester resin to obtain a rigid (coloured) (textured) surface. Offers more convenient thermal/acoustic insulation than infilling cavity wall structures with slab or cast resin, can even eliminate need to construct the inner wall employed in a traditional 'cavity' structure.
