Anchorage grouting mixtures - for ragbolts pillars piling etc in ground or other holes

Measured quantities of water, with or without gelling, antifreeze and anticorrosion agents, and granular material based on plaster of Paris, in frangible containers, prepacked in pairs for delivery to site, are inserted in the hole, the bags broken by insertion of the rod, bar bolt etc. which is then twisted to mix the components to from the grout which then hardens. The granules also contain esp. aluminous cement and inert filler pref. fly ash, foamed polystyrene or sawdust. Specific proportions are 50% filler and 25% each gypsum and cement. The ratio of water to dry components is 2:1-4:1. Esp. for pit-prop systems.
