A movable organ, e.g. eye or tongue, for a doll or puppet is formed on the surface 5 of a hollow, substantially hemispherical member 7 which is rotatably attached to a hollow support 1 and includes means for rotating the member relative to the support comprising an electromagnet 10 carried on the support and a corresponding magnetisable member or permanent magnet 13 carried on the member 7, or vice versa, and a control circuit for causing intermittent operation of said electromagnet for as long as the circuit is activated.
