The device comprises a hairpin-shaped bracket 1a Figs.3 and 6, whose free-end outside edges have stop notches 1c, the free-ends being connected to a U-shaped spring 2. Thus when the ends of the hairpin-shaped bracket are squeezed together they can be inserted in the lattice or pegboard. They then expand due to the tension of the U-shaped spring and the stop notches tightly engage the holes in the pegboard or spaces in the lattice.
