Component (c), a thiuramic accelerator, is optionally present. Examples are given in which natural rubber of butadienestyrene rubber formulations are compounded using a combination of (a) bis-(2-ethylamino-4- diethylamino-triazin-6-yl) disulphide, (b) dibenzothiazyl disulphide or 2-mercaptobenzothiazole and optionally c) tetramethyl thiuram disulphide.
