Process for the apply of new polieteraminas

Water soluble, high mol. wt. polyetheramines useful as flocculating agents, antistatics and flotation agent, are prepd. by reacting an aliphatic polyamine contg. =1 primary or two secondary amino groups and opt. hydroxyl groups, with a mol. wt. below 200, with a polyhalomethyl ether contg. =1 unit of formula (I) (where Hal is chlorine or bromine, n is 2-27 pref. 5-22; and R is H, or 1-4C alkyl, or methyl). The reaction is affected to 50-150 degrees C. The polyetheramines are used as additives in paper prodn.
