摘要
Fe base material contg. Cu, Co, Ni, Mo and/or Re is formed in smelting Cu pyrites is (a) melted in an electric or reverberatory furnace in which elements such as C, Si, P, S, V, and Cr are removed by the use of a slag, and the melt is granulated to a size of 4 mm, using water, air or stream, (b) the granules are oxidised in an oxygen-enriched air, or oxygen contg. flue gas, and using steam at 800-1200 degrees C, pref. 1050 degrees C. A preoxidising treatment may be applied at 500-700 degrees C pref. at 650 degrees C. In this stage Fe is converted to Fe2O3 and Mo and Re volatilised, (c) the porous granules are treated in known manner by chloriding- sulphating roasting, and leaching to recover Cu, Ni, Co and the noble metals.
