In the method of oxidizing cyclohexane in the liquid phase with molecular oxygen in a series of separate oxidation zones with the liquid effluent from the last zone being subjected to vaporization of contained cyclohexane, the improvement being the parallel distribution of the vaporized cyclohexane between the series of oxidation zones.
