Factor viii (antihaemophilia factor a) antiserum - -determination of factor viii

The antiserum (I) is obtained by minimising animals with a human plasma cryopreciptate fraction rich in Factor VIII, prepd. as in Biochem.Biophys.Acta 1970,221, 677-9, isolating the serum, and adsorbing with normal human plasma or plasma from patients with Willebrands disease or haemophilia A to eliminate non-specific antibodies. I can be used in the diagnosis and differentiation of haemophilia and Willebrand's disease.
