Novel title complexes are prepd. by reacting, in an inert solvent, a water-soluble ammonium or alkali metal alkylenebis-dithiocarbamate, an ethylenepolyamine as the free base having formula NH2(CH2CH2NH)nH (where n = 1-5) and a water-soluble metallic salt(s) (where the metal consists of 30-100 molar % zinc and 70-0 molar % of a supplementary metal selected from Mn, Ni, Fe, Co and Cu). The molar ratio of Zn ethylenepolyamine is 0.5-8:1 with the condition that when n = 1 or 2 the Zn:ethylenepolyamine ratio si 2-8:1.
