The fuel element for the generation of power by direct conversion of quantum electrodynamic nuclear energy into mechanical energy is composed of a ferro-or ferrimagnetic alloy, and is in the shape of a round bar, ring, cylinder, hollow cylinder, or disk which is magnetised to give 2p - poles (p = 1, 2, 3..) evenly distributed over the circumference where the field lines enter and exit. The cast or sintered ferro-alloys or ferrites are subjected to a precipitation hardening treatment or a combined heat and magnetic field treatment to produce a preferential magnetisation direction or plane.
