The exercise device (10) is for use in the home, and consists of a bar with a floor and four vertical tubular supports (14), which are used in pairs to support two truncated V-shaped yokes. Each of the yokes (16) has a horizontal top section, with the yokes or bolts (16) gripped in the tubes (14). a crossbar (24) may be fixed to the top, horizontal section (22) of each inverted yoke, and secured with clamping collars (26). The base plate is wooden and has feet (46) at each corner. The tubes are fixed to the base plate corners by flanges clamped between the strips of wood (32) along the baseplate edges, and the baseplate itself. The bars may be dismantled for transport.
