Keeper contains ferrite powder with specific surface area max. 1m2/g. and/or granulation is not 30% 60-100um and is not 30% is not 36um. The keeper is used for improving the storage function of ferromagnetic thin-film stores with planar or cylindrical storage films. It can be inserted more easily than rigid ferrite plates or loose ferrite powder and air gaps can be avoided. The compsn. satisfies the requirements of max. real part and min. imaginary part of the relative permeability of the keeper. together with insulating power, elasticity, freedom from pores, surface quality and homogeneity.
