The plates are mounted horizontally in the column and are constructed of central sections of equilateral triangle shape and outer sections matching the wall curvature. The junctions of the corners of the triangles are supported by tubular members which in turn rest on support beams at their lower end. The edge sections are bolted to the column wall.
