Multi-stage expansion evapn plant - esp for desalination of seawater

The overall thermal efficiency and yield are significantly increased by diverting a part of the main stream of the liquid to be repassed through the heating stages before it enters the condenser tubes of the heat recovery section of the plant and adding heat to that diverted portion at low energy (temp) level before again mixing it into the main stream with which it then passes into those condenser tubes. Esp. the expansion and evaporation in the low temp. stages takes place from thin flims of liquid or from very highly turbulent regions.
