Ventilated underground garage for motor vehicles - has ventilating openings aligned with longitudinal passageways of garage

The ventilated underground garage is used especially for parking of passenger motor vehicles. The vehicles are pref. arranged on both sides of a longitudinal central passage. The ventilator openings are fitted into walls at right angles to the passageway and in alignment with the passageway. The air flow openings are arranged in the end walls which are at right angles to the passageways. The air flows directly through the passageways and efficiently removes motor vehicle exhaust fumes. The entry and exit passage is also used as a ventilating opening. This arrangement ensures that no stagnant pockets of air and fumes are formed in the underground garage due to short circuiting of ventilating openings.
