Stock solns of azo dyes - contg sulphonic acid gps in carboxylic acid/water mixts

Stable, acid concd. solns. of mono and/or polyazo dyes in the form of the free acids, or alkali or ammonium salts, contain (A) 10-75 wt.% azo dye and (B) 90-25 wt.% solvent mixt. The solvent consists of (C) up to 100 wt.% water-soluble 1-6C carboxylic acid, (D) 0-90 wt.% water and (E) opt. other water-iniscible solvents and usual additives. The solvent compsns. are additional to those in parent patent in which (C) is 10-100 wt.% of water-miscible 1-3C carboxylic acid.
