Outdoor paints - for facades based on a siloxane resin methylmethacrlate copolymer combination

The binder for the paints is a combination of a siloxane resin with a co-/ter- polymer of methylmethacrylate with acrylates, carboxylic acid/ester, vinyl toluene or styrene. A metal soap is pref. added to protect the resin from alkalis. The paint is used for facades of (reinforced) concrete, plaster, limestone or brick. It has good penetration and water repellency even when cracked and is readily pigmented.
