Pneumatic tube post system control for two-way traffic in tube with intermediate stations and centrally mounted blower for suction or blowing effects in the two tube sectors either side of the blower station with associated travel contact. The blower is operated by two valves in its direct vicinity and another valve at the end of each tube sector, all controlled by centrally despatched signals. Depending on its allocation to one or other tube sector, each station passes regional details to a sender and receiver line and also condition details to a direction marker line. All the lines can be connected to the stations through switches provided separately for sending and receiving stations and in this way lead to a central control. Here the various line indicators are collated to form a programme signal for three possible travel variants. The programme and associated signals are obtained by tripping the central travel contact and are formed into a blower valve adjustment command.
