Tight fit to prevent gas leads is provided by one seating surface made of heat resistant but yielding material, glass fibre reinforced P.T.F.E. which does not flow and which is compressed by the complementary part of the head to produce the tight fit. The seat should be integrated with the end of the jet and thus with the main jet body.
