Sensitive electric instrument wires - compensating paramagnetic susceptibility with diamagnetic susceptibility polyurethane lacquer

Electric wires used in the prodn. of sensitive elements in electric measuring instruments have the current conductive cores made of metal with paramagnetic susceptibility and for its compensation the wires are coated along their whole length with a layer of material having a diamagnetic susceptibility. The material is pref. a polyurethane lacquer composed of monophenyl urethane and polyvinylformal in a ratio of 1:1.5.
