Refractory alloys are hot-forged and annealed or simply cast and have the compsn. 22-28% Cr, 2-30% Ni, =10% Co, =0.8% C and =15% Fe are 0.1-2.5% Nb. The alloy opt. contains 0.1-0.5% C.
