Numerous suitable isocyanates are listed. The tyre cord may be made of regenerated cellulose in the form of rayon, linear polyamides such as nylon 6 and nylon 66 and aromatic nylon such as p-aminobenzoic acid polymer, linear polyesters such as polyethylene terephthalate, linear polyaminotriazoles, glass fibres, linear polycarbonates, linear polyethers and polyurethanes, wire and linear polyolefins. The resinous reaction product may be of resorcinol and formaldehyde-and the rubber may be a styrene/butadiene-1, 3/vinyl pyridine 15/70/15, or a natural rubber composition.
