1333695 Foundry moulding machines DANSK INDUSTRI SYNDIKAT AS 25 Feb 1972 [4 March 1971] 8909/72 Heading B3F A foundry moulding machine for producing "flaskless" sand moulds 11 comprises a stationary vertical moulding chamber 2, a guideway 10 to receive a row of moulds 11 aligned for pouring and a means for removing the moulds from the chamber 2 and placing them on the guideway 10. Sand is blown into the chamber 2 and compressed by lowering an upper pattern plate 4. The mould (12) so formed is ejected by concurrent movement of upper 4 and lower 6 pattern plates until the upper plate 4 reaches the lower end of chamber 2. The lower pattern plate 6 moves further downwardly while the mould (12) is guided by a member 13. The member 13 and lower pattern plate 6 are pivoted at 9 so that the member 13 lies flush with a guideway 10, see Fig. 4. To move the moulds 12 on to the guideway 10, the lower pattern plate 6 is forced leftwards by a fluid motor 7, 8.
