1400016 Light splitting scanning system AGA AB and BOFORS AB 6 June 1972 [7 June 1971] 26313/72 Heading G2J Two alternating images of a scanning slit of light are formed at 14, one by reflection at a disc 1 of glass with mirror portions (path A) and one, path B by transmission therethrough. The optics include a roof prism 8' to produce an angular displacement of the two slits. By appropriate choice of prisms 8 and pupillary distances in path A, the effects of mechanical wobble of rotating disc 1 are balanced out.
