A device for agitating, mixing and transfering of bulk material such as grain and other agricultural products in drying and mixing plants whereby the periphery of the rotating blade mechanism is enclosed within covers which terminate above the bulk material level and the peripheral ends of the cover are provided with weighted curtains extending downwards in order to skim and level out the surface of the bulk material during operation. The cover, side walls, curtain and drying surface form an enclosure into and from which the material is charged and discharged whereby the enclosure is maintained at an over pressure created by the incoming drying air.
