The parent patent describes a press for making recording sheets or discs, e.g. video signal records, esp. from thermoplastics. The die is heated by contact with a dielectric layer of insulating material with a relatively high dielectric loss angle (e.g. with a tangent of 800 x 10-4 at 10-20 MHz). In this Addition, the die is the earth-potential electrode of the H.F. circuit and is pref. fixed to the upper half of the press. Since this is the fixed part of the press, no sliding contacts are reqd.
