1380537 Photo-electric position finding SELCOM AB 23 July 1973 [4 Aug 1972] 35002/73 Heading H4D In a method (or analogous apparatus) for determining the positions of several points on an object in a Cartesian co-ordinate system by means of a photo-electric detector of the kind which issues, when illuminated, two continuous signals which vary as the x, y co-ordinates of an illuminated spot, the object at each of the several points is provided with a light source, the light sources are intensity-modulated in a different way inter se, and the detector's output signals are separated into the corresponding components. The intensity modulation ways may be different modulation frequencies or sequential actuation of the light sources.
