Synthetic yarn false twisting device in which the yarns are twisted frictionally without whipping and slip is formed by two axially parallel shafts supporting sets of grooved rollers which are axially offset w.r.t. to each other, the rings forming guides for twisting rings which may be of any elastics material and which contact the yarns to be twisted with their radially inner faces over which the yarns are guided in a meandering manner.
