Automated processing of cellular tissue - for papanicalavo test, with data sorting coding and storage

Tissue samples in suspension are initially centrifuged and then automatically slide mounted in a Shandon-Elliot machine. The slide mounted tissue is then biologically stained with C14 activated Methylene blue or H3 activated Haematoxylin. Stained samples are then conveyed to a counting station where the radioactive count is established visually displaced as positive-suspect or negative. A connecting data bank provides punch tape facilities-sorting and codified data storage.
