Auxiliaries for overcoming resin difficulties in paper industry, partic. mfr. of porous absorbent paper, e.g. toilet paper, also corrugated paper, newsprint- or writing-paper, consist of mixts. of alkaline, esp. Na orthophosphates, ortho- and/or metasilicates and fluorides and/or fluorosilicates, as powders or aq. solns., partic. mixts. of 5-95% alkali orthophosphate, 5-95% alkali ortho- and/or -metasilicate and 1-30% alkali fluoride and/or -fluorosilicate, pref. added in 0.1-0.5%/wt. of bone-dry material.
