Liquid and powdered cationic dyestuff prepns. - contg. excess anionic dispersants for dyeing/printing polyacrylonitrile, acid-modified polyesters and polyamides

The prepns. are obtd. by admixing the anionic dispersant e.g. a condensate from phenol sulphonic acid or 2-naphthalene sulphonic acid with HCHO or phenol, and the cationic dyestuff, using 1-3 times dispersant based on the wt. of the dyestuff, until a homogeneous mixt. is obtd. and opt. drying the mixt.
