Water content determn. in potassium nitrate hot bath - by measuring conductivity difference between immersed electrode and reference electrode

The reference electrode is immersed in the same bath which has previously been dehydrated by rapid heating to 400-500 degrees C. This is then followed by cooling down to original bath temp. A small partial flow may be branched off from the bath, and after the same procedure fed to the reference electrode.
