Processing and filtering waste water - using granulated or ground foamed polyurethane as flotation agent or as filtering auxiliary

Flotation agent consisting of opt. granulated or finely ground foamed polyurethane is used in waste water processing and clarifying and also acts as a filtering auxiliary in waste water filtering. The foamed polyurethane has adsorptive capacity for C cpds. including oils and fats and is capable of transporting all pollutants to water surface. It may be used together with dissociation agent, e.g. acids, Fe2(SO4), Al2(SO4)3 and/or flocculants and/or pH regulators and may be replaced by foamed phenol resin or by foamed polystyrene.
