Differences in the positions, with respect to each other, of the shuttle bobbin, on the one hand, and the rotary drive disc for it, on the other, are compensated for by a resilient or loose fit between driving and driven elements. Differences may be due to tolerances etc. Compensation is by sprung pegs on the drive member engaging in larger radius holes in the shuttle, or by a helical spring member connecting the two.
