In the parent patent a method of introducing a deformable ball, for expelling liq. from pipelines, into the pipe element (of smaller dia.) of the introduction device, is carried out by first coupling and sealing this element to the pipeline itself, then feeding in the ball. In addition, the ball dia. is 100-125 (101-112)% of the dia. of the element; it is placed against an open end of the pipe element, the element being evacuated to suck it in. the ball is pref. greased.
