UV-stabilised plastic lenses - of allyl diglycol carbonate and methacrylate copolymer contg dimethyl para-methoxy benzylidene malonate as UV absorber

摘要

Plastic lens of allyl diglycol carbonate and methacrylate copolymer contains 0.05 - 0.3 wt. % dimethyl p - methoxybenzylidene malonate as UV absorber. It can be used for spectacles and has a uniform refractive index through almost total elimination of grooves and streaks. Lens surface is smooth and free from distortions caused by sticking to mould on demoulding.
