A pultrusion apparatus comprises a feed store for reinforcing material, an impregnating bath through which the material is led to impregnate it with thermosetting resin, an H. F. heater to preheat to below the thermosetting temp. a non-forming-out, preheating hollow mould extending through the preheater with its ends external so that no resin can escape into the preheater and constituted of material permeable to H. F. radiation, a heated pressing mould and a pulling unit. Pref. the preheated mould is of PTFE. The tubular shape of the mould in the preheater, with its ends outside the preheater casing, prevents any resin from coming into contact with the preheater.
