Moulding high reliefs - onto flat substrates using prefabricated relief objects for eg sculptures

Foundry casting process for decorative objects with high reliefs on a base, in which the high reliefs are prefabricated and have anchor pins. The principal model constituting the base has holes into which the anchor pins are inserted and the high reliefs are positioned on the model and remain embedded in sand until the final casting. The castings are positioned on the anchor pins to facilitate welding.
